About me

As a language teacher for children and adults, I find lessons to learn, and stories to tell, in everything I see.

As an artist and illustrator, I find inspiration in reimagining strange, magical realities within the mundane.

I love languages, music, working with children, cats, and crafts, and I've just finished writing and illustrating my first children's book!

Le Panier à Pain

Le Panier à Pain, which translates to The Bread Basket is a bilingual (French and English) book for children, written and illustrated by me.

It's a creative allegory that highlights the value of diversity and multiculturalism in the world. The story revolves around a little girl looking for a snack, but in turn, gives all of us some food for thought.

Humanoids of Bombay

This series is a tribute to the most hard-working people of the city, who make it what it is. The Bombay Duck (a species of lizard fish) and the pigeon, both icons of the city in their own right, become an office worker and an aspiring actress in the first two illustrations of Humanoids of Bombay.

Commissions and submissions

Illustrations commissioned by people for their projects - books, websites, greeting cards and more.

Works submitted to various competitions and calls for artwork, that have helped me grow as an illustrator .

Art

A collection of weird, wonderful, whimsical musings on the everyday.
